About Morter Wellness

At Morter Wellness, our focus is simple: help people feel better, function better, and live more fully by supporting the body and nervous system in a gentle, effective way.

We believe that health isn’t just about treating symptoms—it’s about understanding how the body adapts to stress over time and helping it return to a more balanced, regulated state.

Meet Dr. Katy Morter

Dr. Katy Morter is a chiropractor based in Bentonville, Arkansas, specializing in gentle, neurologically focused care. Her work centers on the connection between posture, the nervous system, and the impact of both past and present stress on the body.

Through a blend of chiropractic techniques, emotional balancing, and supportive therapies, she helps patients reduce stress, improve alignment, and reconnect with their bodies.

Katy is especially passionate about helping people who feel overwhelmed, “stuck,” or not quite like themselves again find a sense of ease and resilience.

Outside the office, she enjoys gardening, homeschooling her children, and working with horses—interests that continue to deepen her understanding of how the body moves, adapts, and heals.

Meet Dr. Ted Morter IV

Dr. Ted Morter IV comes from a long lineage of chiropractors and carries forward a deep-rooted commitment to helping people live at their highest potential. His grandfather, M.T. Morter II, was a highly influential figure in the chiropractic profession and helped shape the philosophy that continues to guide the work at Morter Wellness today.

Ted has a strong focus on exercise, movement, and neurological rehabilitation, helping patients build strength, stability, and long-term function. His approach complements the clinical care provided in the office by empowering patients to actively participate in their healing and performance.

When he’s not working with patients, Ted enjoys skateboarding and playing bass guitar.

Our Approach

Together, Katy and Ted bring a balanced approach that supports both restoration and performance.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help people reconnect with their bodies, calm their nervous systems, and create lasting health from the inside out.
